We’re back baby! The 2021-22 KSB School Law Webinar Series dates and topics are set. This year we are adding an additional series, which we call “Rookies and Refreshers.”
Please fill out the form to the right to register for some or all of the webinar offerings. All webinar fees will appear on your district’s or ESU’s regular monthly bill. If you are not a KSB client and would like to participate in any of the webinars, please contact Shari Russell at shari@ksbschoollaw.com. Registration includes the live webinar and a copy of all slides and materials used in the webinar. These will be posted to a secure website so you can access them at any time.
KSB QUARTERLY WEBINAR SERIES
Back and better than ever, with topics selected based on information from our surveys, these webinars offer a “deeper dive” which cannot always be easily covered in a conference breakout session. As in the past these will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM central. The cost for all four webinars is $850. If you choose not to register for all 4, the cost for each is $250/school. ROOKIE AND REFRESHER SERIES
With so many new faces in the administrative ranks this year, KSB is offering a new series that we are calling the “Rookie and Refresher Series.” These short webinars will focus each month on a key topic that we see administrators struggle with -- no matter how experienced they may be. These sessions will be short, practical and to-the-point and will allow for at least 15 minutes of open question time for live participants. Registrants will also receive sample forms relevant to the various topics which you will be able to download and use in your district.
SUPERINTENDENT ROOKIE AND REFRESHER
The Superintendent Rookies and Refresher series will broadcast live each month from 11:45-1:00 PM central. Dealing with the basics on everything from meeting agendas, to union negotiations, to how to hire and recruit new staff, this series is designed for new (or newish) superintendents, those administrators aspiring to be superintendents and to veteran superintendents who would like a refresher on important topics
This series consists of 12 webinars at a total cost of $1,200. If you choose to register for individual sessions the cost for each session will be $150.00. The sessions will be recorded, so you can watch them later if you have a conflict or go back to the recording and any materials for a refresher.

PRINCIPAL ROOKIE AND REFRESHER
The Principal Rookies and Refresher series will broadcast live each month from 7:30 to 8:30 am central (to try to accommodate building obligations once the school day begins). This series will focus on all of the important topics that principals deal with: student discipline, dealing with angry parents, teacher evaluations and more. The information will be beneficial for new or fairly new principals, aspiring principals or any principal or who would like a refresher or primer on the topics about which clients most frequently call. The cost for the entire 12-part series is $1,200. If you choose to register for individual sessions the cost for each session will be $150.00. The sessions will be recorded, so you can watch them later if you have a conflict or go back to the recording and any materials for a refresher.
