As a paralegal with more than 17 years of experience in education law, Shari Russell is the one who is REALLY in charge at KSB. (Don’t tell Karen, Steve and Bobby.) Shari somehow combines a funny, easy-going disposition with a perfectionist’s attention to detail.

Shari Russell

Shari graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from Nebraska Wesleyan University where she was also a scholarship softball player. Shari is an expert in school district comparability, and has testified as an expert witness in numerous proceedings before the Commission of Industrial Relations.

Shari tracks and manages the KSB Complete Policy Service and ensures that all subscribers have the most updated policies. If you’ve ever seen Karen, Steve or Bobby at a teacher termination or special education due process hearing, Shari is the one that assembles those ominous black notebooks with all of the exhibits in them.

Shari’s husband Matt also works at KSB.  She gets to boss him around at home and at work.  Her daughter Kelsey loves theater and cheer and is in all stages of the teenage years. Her son Jax is so good natured that he may not sue her when he grows up and sees all the silly pictures of him Shari has posted on Facebook.
