Our law firm is unique.  Many lawyers spend a career focusing on a small number of practice areas.  At KSB, we don't focus on a specific practice area, we focus on specific clients.  Schools, educational service units, and other education-related agencies are the most legally diverse entities in the country.  We made a conscious decision to focus our careers on providing legal advice and training across the broad spectrum of needs for schools and related entities.  Focusing on all the needs of our specific clients rather than a few needs of all potential clients allows us to use the commonality of legal issues to be efficient, timely, and practical in our representation.

In-Service Training

As KSB reviews developments in the law we create training seminars in order to keep educators informed of the ever-changing legal landscape.  If your staff needs training on a specific area, or a significant change in the law occurs, KSB will bring your staff up to speed so they can perform their duties to the best of their ability and with fidelity to the law.

KSB believes passionately that schools should use technology to increase engagement and student achievement.  As a result, we work tirelessly to be a leading authority at how digital citizenship intersects with education.  Sadly, all too often we see the negative side of digital communication when students as well as adults misuse technology.  A digital citizen is a person who utilizes information technology in order to engage in society, politics, and government and who uses the internet regularly and effectively.
